Jeremiah 20:10-12

¹⁰ For ^(A)I have heard the bad report of many,
“^(B)Terror on every side!
^(C)Denounce him; yes, let us denounce him!”
^[a]All my ^(D)trusted friends,
Keeping watch for my fall, say:
“Perhaps he will be ^[b]deceived, so that we may ^(E)prevail against him
And take our revenge on him.”
¹¹ But ^(F)Yahweh is with me like a ruthless mighty one;
Therefore my ^(G)persecutors will stumble and not prevail.
They will be utterly ashamed, because they have not prospered,
With an ^(H)everlasting dishonor that will not be forgotten.
¹² Yet, O Yahweh of hosts, You who ^(I)test the righteous,
Who see the ^[c]mind and the heart;
Let me ^(J)see Your vengeance on them,
For ^(K)to You I have revealed my cause.
